Dear Business Partners, Customers and the Solmaz Family,
Our sustainability approach is built on a corporate culture that embraces environmental, social and governance responsibilities through the principles of equity, inclusiveness and fairness. Guided by the roadmap we established in 2020 and our ongoing commitment as a UN Global Compact signatory since 2021, we continue to advance our priorities across the organization under the coordination of our Sustainability Committee.
Solmaz has been consistently using I-REC certified renewable energy across its operations for the past four years, reducing the environmental impact of its energy consumption while ensuring transparency through internationally recognized certification. Our ongoing investments in electric commercial vehicles further support our goal of lowering fossil fuel dependency.
Looking ahead, the Solar Power Plant (SPP) planned for commissioning in 2026 marks a significant step toward on‑site renewable energy generation. This initiative reflects our holistic approach to operational efficiency, energy security and carbon risk management.
Our transition to the IFS ERP system has strengthened operational efficiency and reinforced our data‑driven management culture through streamlined and modernized processes.
Our newly opened Solmaz Playground has become a modern learning hub for our employees and a platform for interaction with customers and business partners. Through sustainability‑focused talks and experience-sharing sessions, we aim to enhance awareness and foster meaningful engagement across our ecosystem.
Beyond strengthening our internal practices, we actively contribute to sectoral efforts in gender equality. In addition to our collaboration with the Federation of Women's Associations of Turkey (TKDF), we are a member of the Business Against Domestic Violence (BADV) Network, engaging in committee work that promotes safe, inclusive and equitable working environments for all employees.
As a responsible and forward‑looking organization, Solmaz will continue creating value with its stakeholders and advancing its sustainability‑driven growth journey throughout 2026 and beyond.
We support the "United Nations Global Compact" and the "10 Principles" and are proud to join the UN United Nations Global Compact as part of our commitment to be a responsible company towards society and humanity.
